You can use for decoration for example use it instead of a little candle. Moreover you can have a couple of them with you if you have a smartphone with ir blaster. The negative is that you can control them only via the provided controll (switch on & off, change colour) and that are powered by two CR2032 batteries that are included for each one of them. You can turn them on and off by twisting the the base which included the 2 batteries. All in all nice small solution for decoration purpose. Haven;t tested if they are waterproof, but they have a rubber ring for this purpose and they close well by twisting them. Note that you should unscrew the base in order to remove the plastic film in order to turn them on. With the provided controller you have all the necessary actions
